I’m passionate about utilizing data to improve the systems that shape our world.
I pursued my Master in Science in Public Policy at the NYU Wagner School of Public Service to gain the tools and practice needed to make a meaningful impact. There, I studied advanced statistical methods and econometrics, practiced data analysis in R, Python, and STATA, and researched energy policy and societal determinants of health.
For my courses, I created a podcast on the New York City power grid and utility regulation and performed a spatial analysis on the impact of truck routes in New York City on health outcomes for the surrounding areas. The Medium article documenting my methods and analysis, open-access code, and podcast can all be found on my Portfolio page.
Additionally, I interned at the New York City Mayor’s Office’s Center for Innovation through Data Intelligence (CIDI). I wrote and tested Python code to streamline the analysis for CIDI’s 2022 Well-being Index, and created visualizations in Tableau to elucidate our findings.
